Chromebook Camera Currently Unavailable, How To Reset A Chromebook Digital Trends

The camera is built into the chromebook itself i dont.

Maybe it is already used by a different app i tried everything to resolve the issue but nothing helped. Please check if the camera is properly connected this is an internal camera on a chromebook so it should not need connecting.

Only microphone which works fine. App no longer works. I have tried power washing resetting settings and also looked at the connection and it seems to be connected.

There are no camera related settings in the chromebook settings not sure there were before to be honest it just worked for three years until now. Ive tried to restart my computer and load the app from the web store as suggested but does work. It saysyour camera is currently not available.

If it works in that app uninstall the app where it doesnt work then reinstall it. The camera app says your camera is currently unavailable and google duo android web and chrome apps all show no camera found. Turning it off and on again turning off extensions powerwash.

Whenever i try to use it with a site like cameroid or tumblr taking webcam pictures essentially it isnt even reconized as existing and when i try to use the camera app itself it just says your camera is currently unavailable. Turn off your chromebook then turn it back on. Another app may be using it when that is not at all the case.

But it just wouldnt work. If your camera isnt working or if you see a message that says no camera found. It is saying camera is currently unavailable please check if camera is correctly press j to jump to the feed.

Try using the camera in another app like hangouts. I am having a problem with my camera on my hp 14 chromebook. This is on my toshiba chromebook.
